Sunset

This sunset was Sunday. So beautiful! We had gone to a nearby park with Celeste and Sarah who were here visiting. The bright colors, the lakes reflection, ducks and geese floating peacefully along, and the mountains in the distance make this easily a favorite photo!!

Trails

This is one of our favorite walking trails. It's right near our house and easy to access. This was last Thursday on our way to watch the sunset.

Fun

One of the best things about homeschooling is we can take breaks whenever and do whatever. Like silly hat breaks. It doesn't always have to have an educational side.

So cute

I know this toddler cuteness is going to end way before I'm ready for it to. I just want to squeeze him!

No!!

No mommy, I not tired! I don't need a nap! Famous last words!!

Dentist

A successful trip to the dentist. No cavities, they enjoyed it and want to go back. Jude didn't get a cleaning, but still had fun!! Aren't they cute?!

ER

This child gave us quite the scare with sudden croup one night. It was a serious case, but after a few hours of breathing treatments and steroids, this was one happy energetic boy - especially for four AM!!

Cozy

These boys are just so cute! Ty pretends to sleep, and eventually did fall asleep. Drew held Jude's hand to calm him down. He was really upset. Drew has a soft heart and is so good with his brothers!

Happy little fire

Even though we have now lived here for over a year, Pete built our first fire in the living room this evening. I LOVE fires. Wood is not as abundant here as it is in the Midwest; so they won't be too frequent. But I will enjoy them fully!!

Mountains

Days when we can go to the mountains are my favorite. Hiking, driving, picnicking, exploring, it really doesn't matter what we do! We had a close encounter with some beautiful animals and completely wore out the kiddos on Monday showing Pete's mom and brother our favorite places. Jude didn't even wake as I changed his diaper and put his PJs on!

He's FOUR!!

My little Ty turned four. His long-awaited "knocked over" birthday was set up. Grandma and Uncle Matt were here to help celebrate this year. I can't believe he is four!!!!
