April snow showers

So it's been awhile. As a gift for my dad for his 50th birthday, we all headed back home - all as in our family as well as my siblings - to be together to celebrate. It was the first time in quite awhile, as we were unable to get back for Christmas. Celeste, the boys and I all stayed for most of the week after the party. Pete had come home for classes and work, so Celeste drove us home. The boys behaved very well for Auntie! :) We have also been sick - Pete started, then shared with Drew, who shared with me. Thankfully, Ty has shown no signs of getting sick yet. We pray that he doesn't. It was a nasty bug. Drew had a fever of 102.6 for three days and was just miserable for many more days. While we were visiting with my parents, Ty decided to start siting up. He'll go for a minute or two before toppling, less time if Drew is around. Ty also had his first cereal the night we got home. He loves it. We all thought that Drew had a voracious appetite, but Ty is ready to keep up with him. Pete jokes that we will each need a second job to feed just Drew....what about Ty? On a serious side, we had Ty's appointment with the foot specialist this morning. The foot problems he has are due from his position in the womb and being a larger baby. There is nothing we need to do at this point, but there is potential he may have problems as he gets older and more active, usually in sports. If this is the case, we will cross that bridge when we get there; but at this point, he's fine. Drew continues to be Drew. He is trying out more words that sound nothing like what they should, but to him they mean something and if you can't get it figure out, watch out! He was also beat up by the pew at church and has yet another black eye. Sometimes I wonder if he will end up with a permanent black eye! While he was slow moving and even cuddly for a few days while he was sick, he is back to his full speed ahead and we are scrambling to keep up with him. Pete is looking forward to summer and no classes for awhile. He is still at the front of his classes and doing well. I'm keeping busy trying to keep our home presentable for spring safety inspections, you never know for sure which day they will show up! Look at that smile - can't tell he loves his food can you? Pete's dad seems to be doing better, but he is having different problems with some medications and reactions to them. Please continue to pray. Thanks! Guess that is all for now...we pray God will bless you and your families as we celebrate his death and resurrection this Easter! Over and Out!
