Summer is here!

We are excited for summer and all that it will bring. Pete took his performance exam today and is done! He gets to go out for pizza with his class after cleaning up the shop tomorrow, but no more classes until this fall. He's incredibly excited and finished his semester strong. Thank you to all who prayed for him this semester. Prayers really kept him going. Drew helped me make a cake for Pete on his last day of class. I think Drew had more fun helping to make it than we all did eating it! Of course, he had to sample what he was making. We are also starting to question his fashions. He loves to wear his Bob the Builder costume, or the Winnie the Pooh costume...but also some crazy combinations of hats. Yes, that is a hat, topped with a hood, topped with a visor, worn down around his chin instead of around his head. And yes, he did wear it ALL DAY LONG, even through nap time. After bath time the hat and visor mysteriously disappeared! They have since resurfaced, but not worn in that combination again! He continues to pick up more words - his latest additions are shoe, biscuit, jelly (sounds like smelly), and today: whooo-hooo! He is also having a lot of fun playing the 'kissing game' with daddy. The whiskers make it all the more interesting! Here he had the protection of the car window! Tyty is just growing like a weed. Still always smiling and happy, still seems to be working on some teeth, and just loving life. He enjoys being outside watching his brother play in the dirt or ride his bike. He doesn't seem too eager to try to follow him, which is fine with me! We had a cookout with some friends on Sunday and he adored their kids as well. Drew focused mostly on the dirt, but Ty was into the people! I have gotten out on the bike a few times this week. I do enjoy going alone rather than pulling the boys in the cart. After not riding bike in almost three years, I'm really enjoying it. Since Pete is such a biker, I prefer not to go with him and get left behind in the dust! So since Pete is out for the summer, our summer has officially started. We leave tomorrow for the weekend visiting family in Michigan, and then we're home again only to pack up and head out for Montana! Fun with friends here we come! It may be awhile before I update again; but I will take pictures! Take care, thanks for your prayers! Over and Out!
