The soldiers guarding the bridge. I think the soldiers are one of my favorites.
Pete and the boys crossing the bridge. All bundled up for the single digit temps!
Santa and the Mrs with the boys and I. Santa tried to jingle his bells so Drew would be distracted from the scary Santa!
Drew wanted to show Nana the 'noman'. Drew is really into the old Frosty movie right now.
On the way home, Drew had to stop every few feet to pick up a new ball of snow. "Mommy, it's nummy!"

The Christmas Village
Every year the Christmas village at the park expands. Then, one Saturday it is closed to drive-through traffic and open only to those on foot - or stroller, sled, wagon, whatever the case may be! This was our first time going on the walk only day and I was surprised by how many people were out in the freezing cold. Large, extended family groups were everywhere and there were many tiny tiny babies bundled to the hilt too. I didn't know what a big tradition it is for some families! Santa and the Mrs. were there to greet children and give them a candy cane. This year Drew was still afraid of them, but Pete was able to snap a picture before he got too upset. This is the nativity scene in the park.
