Things have been progressing here: we got curtains up in the boys' bedrooms, blinds up in ours, as of Saturday night we have curtains in our living room and dining room - and they look GREAT! Pictures will come, but this computer does not have any pictures on it, so it's hard to give you any!!
Yesterday was the AWANA hayride and the kids loved it. Drew was still talking about it this morning. It was great weather, after so many weeks of rain it was a blessing for sure.
Last night after getting home from the hayride, I had thrown some leftovers in the oven for dinner. Drew and Ty stayed outside to play, Jude was napping, and Pete was mesmerized by football, of course. I heard a blood curdling scream from outside and ran to the back door. As I passed the window, I could see that Ty had tripped and fallen and Drew was already running to him. Drew calmly helped Ty stand up and spent a good minute and a half untangling the vines from around Ty's ankle. Once he was done, he took Ty's hand and led him away from the vines before running back to play with his cars. It was so sweet - a memory I will cherish. If only I could put the re-play from my mind on to my camera??
