What is small, orange, and lives underwater? One of Drew's new fish - named Gobble. Isn't it funny how they, at such a young age, can be so insistent and adamant about some things, and care nothing about others? Their emerging personalities are so fascinating. Oh, and the white fish with the orange spot on his head is Tickle. Don't get them mixed up - you will be immediately corrected! The fish were a reward for Drew being so helpful and a start to teaching him responsibility. It's his job to remember to feed the fish - which at this point isn't a problem. Convincing him they only need to eat once a day is! Since Gobble and Tickle are a regular part of conversation around here now, I figured an introduction would be nice so you knew what I was talking about.
Pete started his classes again yesterday. It was hard on the boys to have daddy leave without them, but getting back into a routine again is good.
We had some company yesterday and while I was holding their baby, Ty was quick to express his displeasure. That little baby got quite the dirty looks! Just wait until April, little Ty!! The picture uploader isn't working right now...so I guess you get just a boring old blog!!

Duckie!
After many tries, I finally got a shot of Ty standing up. He did use the stool to get started, but he is also standing on his own in the middle of the room now too. He stands up and calls out: "Uh!! Uh!!" as if to say, "look at me!" Then he laughs and occasionally has tried to dance and then falls. He has only tried to take steps a few times and has fallen right away; now he is afraid to try again. But he's soo close!!
When both the boys were born I had chosen a gender neutral outfit for them to wear home from the hospital. Even though we have several neutral outfits, I think this baby should have something new to wear home. I was going to take my mom's advice this time and buy two outfits - one for a girl and one for a boy - and let her wash whichever was needed and we could return or gift the other outfit. So Drew was with me while I was picking out some cute outfits. The conversation was great : "Mommy, clothes? For baby? " "Yes, Drew, we need some clothes for the new baby. How about this one? Do you like the bears and trucks?" "No Mommy. No trucks." "How about the lions? Do you like the lions?" "Nope!" "Ok Drew, what do you like?" "No Panda! No Giraffe! No Trucks! Duckie!" "You like the duckie?" "Yes, for baby in mommy's tummy. Duckie!" So gender neutral we are again...the outfit is green, yellow and white, with a little duck on the shirt and bottom. It was fun to see him so excited to pick out something for the baby. He then followed it up with a big, pink stuffed animal. After seeing the price tag, I talked him down to a small toy that he can give to baby when baby comes. He chose a tiny giraffe that will clip to the car seat. He carried it through the store, talking about baby and baby coming. The lady at the register even gave him a small bag for just the toy so he could carry it out to the car. He is taking very good care of this toy he is going to give to baby. He even tried to dig under my shirt trying to "find baby". Three months to go seems so short to me, yet trying to explain it to Drew is difficult.

For all who wish to know - minus the one who called me brat!
Ok, last real post was on December 14, today being the 13th of January can we say it's not quite a month? Maybe? It has been a busy month with lots of travels, laughs, memories made with the occasional illness thrown in for good measure. The things that pop out of Drew's mouth with either make you wonder or laugh all the time. And, according to Drew, Baby Jesus is in mommy's tummy. Ty is now standing on his own and has taken a few steps, but not enough to say he's walking yet. He doesn't trust himself enough to take off, but it won't be long. Classes start next week for Pete and while it will be busy, it's his last semester!
Everything is looking fine for Weebo. A few minor concerns here and there, but nothing major. Please continue to keep us in your prayers! These last few months of pregnancy could be a bit difficult.
