Swimming Lessons

The last two weeks have kept us busy each day with swim lessons. Ty loved them and did great until he had to do the back float. Drew did great once he was in the water...but occasionally it was a struggle to get him in. One big difference, Ty got to have Daddy in the water with him; Drew did not. They both did really well, but it will be nice to have our days free again. Drew spent the time while Ty was in the water, just running around like a crazy boy. Jude was occasionally hard to keep content, but did very well being confined to his stroller for an hour every day when it was so hot! Good little guy...and very happy.

We have two different adventures planned for upcoming days when Pete is off and the weather is decent. Like I said before, there is so much to do here. In the words of a friend back in MI, "You guys LIVE in vacation-land!" In some ways, it feels kinda true. With Pete having so much time off, it feels like he's on vacation. It's a good feeling! I don't have a picture of Ty, because when I took these two, Ty was in the water. I forgot to get one of him later. :(

Funny muffin story: Yesterday, as I put a Beach Boys CD in, I told the boys how I used to listen to them as a little girl, and how Papa really liked the Beach Boys. All four of us were in the kitchen dancing for a few songs, then I started on dinner. Drew disappeared for a bit, but was quickly back exclaiming: "Mommy! I like Papa's music so much that I was dancing while going potty!!"
Oh dear...
